DISTRICT 7 ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

District #7 held their annual Fun Golf Tournament at Silver Lake Golf Course, near Maidstone, Sask.  DDGM, R.W. Bro. Glenn officiated and presented the prizes.  The proud winners of this years event were, left to right, Bro. George Phillips, Bro's Al White & Bernie Meisner.  18 Golfers attended and had a very nice afternoon.

RED DEGREE TEAM @ PRINCE ALBERT, MAY 24, 2013

Ionic # 31 Red Coat Degree Team performed the 3rd. Degree on Bro's. Christopher Szeszorak & Michael Harvey, of Kinestino #1, Prince Albert on May 24, 2013.  An excellent Supper preceded the Meeting. A Great time was had by all.

Leslie Knutson,  W.Bro. Al White, Master of Ionic Lodge, presenting Cole Knutson with a $250.00 Cheque,  to assist in travel to Halifax to perform with the National Youth Band of Canada one of only 3 young people from Sask.  He will be leader of the Saxophone section.  Cole has agreed to perform at Ionic Lodge on his return.Theresa Knutson is also present.

District 7 Curling

District #7 held their Curling Funspiel on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Twin Rivers Curling Center, North Battleford, with 20 participants from Meadow Lake, Lloydminster, Unity & The Battlelfords.  It was a fun morning and the winning team was skipped by Peter Pauls, with Neil McCuaig & Jay Barr.  This was the first time Curling for a few of the participants & they can't wait  for next year. 

IONIC #31 LODGE MEETING FEB. 8, 2013

Brethren, our February 8, 2013 Meeting was a once in a Lifetime event.  M.W. Bro. Carl Krause & G.M. of the Grand Lodge of Sask. & his Line Officers were in attendance.  His Special Guest was M.W. Bro. David Roth Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Alberta.  A Second Degree on our Member, Daniel Sager was performed by the Kinistino #1 Degree Team.  They did a Wonderful Job.  This evening was a business meeting for both Ionic & Kinistino, which as for as I know, was a first.  The evening was preceded by a Supper, catered by 2nd. to None.  Both Grand Masters gave inspiring messages & it was Great to see the Lodge Room full.  Congratulations to our Master W.B. Al White on a job very well done.  It was an exceptional evening.
