Just a Few Updates

Apologies for the delays. ( I just recovered back our Blog)

Building Committee report and update

 Brethren

 

The building committee has been and continues to be vey active in cleaning up our lodge.

Many items belonging to other concordant bodies have been moved along, others remain with the committee being told we’ll check further on that. There has been no response or reports of any findings. The Committee would like to continue with this and remind any who indicated they’d check to do so and report back to VW Bro Hogger or RW Bro Crush. A couple of matters of concern.

 

• There is the musical instruments from Shrine which occupy a significant amount of storage space and go unused.
• We’re hoping to confirm if these are going to the Shrine in Regina and who may take them or if consideration of donating the locally should be given.
• There is the matter of the second organ which, has not been used to anyone’s knowledge, and it’s the committees understating that there is no interest in the organ. The SE corner could be much better used .
• In this matter the committee is offering the organ out to any member or members acquaintance who may want and put it to use, it’s unknown if it actually works.
• If the organ has not been claimed and moved by the Sept meeting, The Committee will dispose of it and or donate it if a party or group can be found.

This are just a few matters more communication on other matters is expected before the Sept meeting.

Fall Supper & Silent Auction

 Greetings Brethren,

        It's this time of the year again !!! 

We will be hosting Fall Supper and Silent Auction

Here are the details: 

            When: Saturday, October 18, 2025

            Where: Ionic Lodge Basement Hall

            Time:    Supper at 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM

            Ticket Cost:  $20.00 (Adults) 

     Money collected will stay with the Temple Company to help cover the cost of the five youth camp participants that attended Youth Camp in 2025.

         Meal Items:   ( for the moment)     

• Protein (Ham, Turkey)
• Vegetables
• Salad
• Desert

N    Detai F    NOTE: we are still open for donations, meal donation items and silent auction items.

Silent Auction: Anything that anyone is willing to donate from personal or business connections would be welcome.

Summer Social Aug 17

 Brethren, 

A few social committee items to share with you. 

Summer Sendoff Social:    Here are the details:

                               When: Sunday, August 17, 2025

                                Where: Eling Kramer Campground Picnic Area

                                 Time: Come and Go from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

                                  Activities:             Playground Nearby

                                                                Bounce House for Kids

                                                                Various Sport Equipment will be able to be used.

                                                                Please Bring:   Lawn Chairs

                                                                                        Snacks

                                                                                        Food if wanting to BBQ

                                 Beverages – Any adult beverages should be in a closed container.

     There are full washrooms on site as well as access to drinking water.

Come down to the Kramer Campground for a visit before we get back to the busy of Lodge and School.  Bring your partners and kids for an afternoon in the park.

                                                     Items Needed for Event

• Is there anyone with a portable BBQ?
• There is a small BBQ Pit at the shelter but it would need firewood.
• If we would like music we may need a speaker

A great evening of fellowship, support, and living the Grand Master’s theme:
