IONIC LODGE MEETING - OCTOBER 12, 2018

We held our Regular Monthly meeting on Friday evening, October 12th.  A 2nd Degree had been scheduled but did not materialize.   A cheque in the amount of $7500.00 was presented to our Treasurer, Bro. Tony Francescone by M.W. Bro. Don Finan & V.W. Bro. Bernie Meisner on behalf of "The Ionic Red Coat Degree Team" Travel Fund, for the purchase of our new Lodge Room Carpet.  

 

IONIC LODGE MEETING SEPTEMBER14, 2018

Brethren, our Regular Meeting on Sept. 14, was just that, a Regular Meeting.  No Degrees for this evening.  This was the first time most of our Members had their first look at our new carpet which was installed of the Summer Months.  Our W.M., W. Bro. Mark Barclay made a presentation of a Book to Bro. Adam Niciri.

IONIC #31 MAKEOVER

 The Carpet has been removed from the Lodge Room on Saturday, Aug. 4, by a Lodge of "Working Masons", the Number (5),  who have given a new meaning to "Floor Work". 

Ionic Lodge Work Bee, July 7, 2018

Brethren, as you know we are getting new carpeting in our Lodge room.  On Saturday Morning, a group of Masons gathered with their "Working Tools",and removed the side chairs to the center of the room, so that the carped installers could do their job.  Thanks to all 13 Members who gave of their time & talents. BBQ Burgers were served at the conclusion of the work, which, by the way only took less than 90 minutes. Great job guys.  
 
Don't get complacent, it has to be all put back together again and we will be looking for your assistance once again.  Here are some photos.

IONIC BLOG UPDATE - LODGE MEETING JUNE 8 & DISTRICT GOLF JUNE 9, 2018

 W.B. Jack Smith presents his Tatting to W.M. Mark Barclay. This will be used as a Book Mark in our Lodge. Tatting shown below.

 Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace from a series of knots and loops. Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, accessories such as earrings and necklaces, and other decorative pieces.

District Golfers relaxing after a round of golf at the Silver Lake Golf Course on Saturday, June 9.Players were from Meadow Lake, Unity, Lloydminster and The Battlefords.  It was hot & windy, but a great day was had by all.
